Hi Everyone! Sorry for the late posting of the challenge, we were busy yesterday spending time with our families just in case the world was ending....LOL!
The challenge was handed over to Audrey this week, so here is her description and below you will see some photos of her sample. If you live locally, you MUST stop in and see this layout in person, the photos just don't do it justice!
Before you go on though, we want to say a special thank you to Janet, who is a very talented member of our Design Team. She entered our challenge last week with a gorgeous project along with a very touching, heartwrenching story. She lost her mom and we want to extend our sincerest condolences during such a sad time. Please take a moment to take a look at her beautiful bird house.
And now here is Audrey's post and challenge for this week (pay special attention to the fabulous flower she made using ribbon and Glubers that are now in stock at Paper Wings:
Hi there! When I gave Colleen my design team project this week, using Echo Park Springtime, I told her that I had gone a bit crazy using some of my new toys....I mean, tools, on the page. I used my new Sew-Easy piercing tool for the stitched border, a regular piercer for the embroidery, two new Martha Stewart punches for the frame and the picket fence, a new EK Success punch for the floral border, my new Tim Holtz tiny attacher stapler and the new Glubers for the ribbon flower. I also used my trusty paper trimmer with a scallop blade for one of the borders and decorative edge scissors for another, as well as my dusty old Fastenator to staple the ribbon for my bow, and of course, a needle and embroidery floss. So, here's your challenge: Use as many toys, I mean TOOLS, as you can on your next page. They can be new or old, any item that you can think of to help you create your page...the more the merrier!
