Birthday Winner and Iron Orchid Layout

Hi everyone!  Long time no talk.  So sorry we have been MIA but it's always crazy gearing up here for the summer season.  First, I want to thank everyone for the special wishes sent to my little boy on his birthday.  He sat on my lap everyday saying "Mommy, did I get more letters today!"  He was so very excited.  So, without further ado, the winner is Princess Poodle!  Thanks so much and be sure to email us at thegirls@paperwingsnj.com to claim your prize!  Next on the list, one of my new loves, Iron Orchid Designs.  I just love this company because there paper has so much detail and is just like a hot fudge sundae for your eyes!!! The first photo at the top is a layout I made today with there Beloved Line.  That's my mommy up there.  I was missing her extra today and felt the need to involve her in my crafting.  The second project is a 16x20 canvas wall hanging and it features the Beach Cottage line also from Iron Orchid Designs.  This project is going to be a class at our store on June 28th so if your interested, visit the website at http://www.paperwingsnj.com/ and check out the classes section.  If you have the chance, pick up some paper from this company, it is so beautiful! Have a wonderful day!  ~Colleen

Loving My Sew Easy!

This is Nora Anne popping in today! While Colleen is busy hosting the Layout of the Month at the store, I thought I'd share something I made with the AWESOME new Sew Easy heads that she has in stock!
See the cute little banner at the top of the card? Yup, that was made with the Sew Easy! I ran it across my paper strip, stitched, then just cut around it. Easy as that and oh, "sew" fun! (You can also find some of the pretty hand-dyed vintage seam binding at Paper Wings!)

Oh, and while I am here. Do you remember a little while back Colleen mentioned that she would soon be carrying products from Mon Amie Gabby? Well, on the card below I made a flower from the beautiful crepe paper she sells. If you like it, then GREAT, because you will soon be able to make your own with this crepe paper coming soon to Paper Wings!

Enjoy your Sunday! Colleen and I are so excited to be heading to Philly on Tuesday with Pat and Kathy for our Copics Certification class! We'll share about it later in the week!
